A personalised thread ceremony invitation video for an Upanayanam (VINV-006): one animated video e-invite with music that announces your son's sacred thread ceremony, sets out the programme, gives the venue and closes with your family's compliments and RSVP. We make it with your names, dates and venue and send it to you as an MP4 file ready to share on WhatsApp, Instagram or email. ₹999.

Every scene sits inside a scalloped arch in pale green and gold, edged with a painted floral border, with marigold garlands, brass lamps and banana leaves at its sides. The opening scene shows the boy seated at the sacred fire between his mother and father, with the priest at the havan. The programme scene shows the whole family gathered around the ceremony, the elders in veshti and the women in silk saris. The lettering is in deep maroon script with gold headings on an ivory ground.

In the video: about 40 seconds, vertical 1080 × 1920 so it fills a phone screen, with background music. It has four scenes:

• an opening scene with the invocation (for example "|| श्री गणेशाय नमः ||"), a blessings line, "Upanayanam, sacred thread ceremony", your son's name and the date;
• the invitation from the parents with a programme of up to three rituals, each with its date and time, such as Udakashanti, the Upanayanam muhurtham and Brahmopadesam;
• the venue and address, a meal line such as "followed by lunch", the dress code and a closing line;
• a compliments scene with the family name, the grandparents' blessings, two RSVP contacts and your hashtag.

Details: ₹999 for the personalised video · MP4 file · digital product, nothing is printed or posted · design code VINV-006.

The Upanayanam is the Hindu sacred thread ceremony, also called Janeu, Yagnopavit, Poonal, Munj or Bratabandha in different regions. The sample is a South Indian ceremony in Chennai, and every ritual name and line of wording is yours to change, so the same video works for a Janeu sanskar in the north or a Munj in Maharashtra.
